Trade related aspects and implications of COVID-19
The next meeting of the INTA committee is scheduled to take place 17 March, 13:45 to 16:15 and 16:45 to 18:45, as well as 18 March, 9:00 to 12:00.

INTA will hold a hearing on "Trade related aspects and implications of Covid-19" with a distinguished panel (OECD, PIIE, International Trade Center, Global Trade Alert) contributing to INTA's reflection process on the role of trade as a tool for a sustainable recovery and open strategic autonomy.

There will also be a study presentation on "Post Covid-19 value chains: options for reshoring production back to Europe in a globalised economy".

In addition, Members will discuss the International Procurement Instrument, Uzbekistan's application for GSP+ status, the modification of agricultural tariff rate quotas resulting from the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the EU and the strengthening of the implementation and enforcement of EU sanctions.

Members will vote on the EP's consent to the Voluntary Partnership Agreement between the EU and the Republic of Honduras on forest law enforcement and an accompanying resolution, as well as on INTA's opinion on the Farm to Fork Strategy.
